What does Matched mean?

Those who show up as Matched are either:

  • A candidate who was reached out to in Source who has hit 'Reply' to accept your interest
  • An applicant that a Recruiter clicked 'Accept' for when reviewing their application

Essentially if a candidate is matched, there is confirmed mutual interest. We will send an email to both the recruiter and the candidate. Either party can reply to ask questions or set up a chat to continue the screening process.

Where can I find Matches?

You can find your matches in two areas, within Track or Conversations.

Track

Within Track, our built-in ATS, you have a column called Matched. This area includes a list of candidates/applicants.

If helpful, please see this guide for a broad overview of how to use Track: How do I use Wellfound's built-in ATS Track

To navigate to this area:

1. Sign in to an account connected to your company profile.

2. In recruiter mode, click on Track from the top toolbar.

3. Then investigate the Matched column to view candidates/applicants with mutual interest.

Conversations

Conversations is an area of recruiter mode where you manage messages with applicants/candidates. We include a filter here to look at only matched messages to simplify the process of understanding which candidates/applicants have expressed mutual interest.

To navigate to this area:

1. Sign in to an account connected to your company profile.

2. In recruiter mode, click on Conversations from the top toolbar.

3. From the left-hand column, select the heading Matched to view messages from only Matched candidates/applicants.

4. From the Filtering by drop-down, you can filter by 'My conversations' or by 'All conversations'
