Do I have to post a salary range with a job listing?

Yes. On Wellfound, companies must include compensation to show fully in our system.

What will happen if I don't add compensation? 

Jobs posted without salary or equity ranges do not appear in candidate search results when jobseekers filter for new opportunities. This is called Limited Distribution. For more information, click here.

Our research has shown that compensation leads to more applications from qualified prospective candidates – increasing the match rate and reducing the time to recruit.  

How do I add compensation details to a job post? 

Please follow this guide to add a salary and/or equity to your job post. 

Do I have any other options to keep my salary/equity hidden? 

If you want to keep compensation information hidden, you can upgrade a listing to a Promoted Job to become discoverable. Promoted jobs also increase the roles' overall visibility in related searches.
