How do I schedule calls with candidates ?

Candidates can get lost in the traditional back-and-forth of scheduling, so we developed an Instant Scheduling feature that allows you to specify a meeting length and interviewer when you send a request to a candidate. Candidates can select an open time slot on your calendar that automatically creates an event.

First, follow this guide: How do I connect my calendar for instant scheduling?

To use Instant Scheduling from Track

Please note: Candidates must be past the Matched status in Track for Instant Scheduling to be available. To find out more about how to match with a candidate please click  here.

1. Sign in to an account connected to your company profile.

2. In recruiter mode, click on Track from the top toolbar or click here.

3. From here, find a candidate in Matched status or any column to the right of Matched. Click on the candidate's name to open their candidate card.

4. From the candidate card, click on Interviews from the headers on the right-hand side.

5. Press on Schedule below the headers on the right-hand side.

6. If you have not yet connected a calendar to your account, you will be prompted to connect a google calendar. Please follow through with doing so before proceeding by following this guide on: How do I connect my calendar?

7. Search for the teammate or yourself from the search bar under  Interviews.

8. Select a teammate or yourself.

9. Press 'Schedule Interview' to launch the calendar and set up the time.

To schedule a call directly from Source

1. Sign in to an account connected to your company profile.

2. In recruit mode, go to Source from the top toolbar.

3. When you've found an ideal candidate to reach out to through Source, click on Request to chat to send them a pitch.

4. The pitch composer window will show, and you'll see the section Provide your availability at the bottom of your pitch on the right-hand side. From here, choose from the drop-down called 'Select availability' to select a person and duration of time.

Alternatively, you can provide a third-party scheduling link like Calendly instead.

If you use Instant Scheduling, the recipient candidate will see the option to select an available time based on your calendar. This will allow them to schedule directly without needing the hassle of messaging back and forth.

Note that this feature is only available to companies with a Recruit Pro subscription.
